Ms. Jazayerli has more than twenty years of experience as a litigator and immigration attorney. A graduate of Columbia Law School in New York, Ms. Jazayerli served as a law clerk to The Honorable Whitman Knapp, Senior District Judge for the Southern District of New York.
Following her clerkship, she was an associate at the Washington, D.C.-based law firm Covington & Burling, handling commercial litigation and international trade matters.
Since 2007, Ms. Jazayerli has focused her legal practice on U.S. immigration law, representing individuals and employers on a broad range of matters, especially in the hiring of foreign nationals under temporary employment visa categories such as H-1Bs and L-1As. She also advises employers on proper I-9 form compliance and the use of the federal E-Verify employment authorization program.
In addition, Ms. Jazayerli has extensive expertise in the EB-5 Immigrant Investor visa program, providing assistance to individuals seeking U.S. permanent residency through investment, and U.S. companies seeking EB-5 Regional Center designation to allow them to finance job-creating
Ms. Jazayerli is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia, New York, and the U.S. District Court, District of Columbia.
Ms. Klingner has built an extensive career in the agricultural and logistics sector. She works to stimulate rural economic growth and create sustainable jobs in the food, agricultural and manufacturing industries. She also consults with domestic and foreign companies on globalization and political strategies.
For the past 5 years, she has focused a majority of her time working directly in the foreign market with governments, investors, local cooperative partners and industry experts to ensure transparency and integrity.
With over twenty years of experience in the legal, business, federal and international political arenas, Ms. Klingner brings a common sense, comprehensive approach to her farm-family, agri-business and immigration clients.
She was raised on a diversified family farm on the Iowa/Missouri border where she is still involved with her parents and siblings in crop/livestock production and elite genetics. Ms. Klingner, as well as her family, remains actively involved in the expansion, development and maintenance of our Nation’s critical inland waterways along the Mississippi, Missouri, and Illinois Rivers.
She supports local agricultural youth through the 4-H and FFA organizations, as she places great importance on the education and development of our future agricultural leaders.
